In compliance with articles 3º, section X; 7º; 21, last paragraph; and 27, section IV of the Federal Law for the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Individuals and its Regulations (collectively, from now on, the “Law”), Dharma Freediving Academy (from now on, the “Responsible”), with address at km 17.5 of the Merida-Progreso highway, Tamanche with C.P. 97139 in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico; informs you that it collects and treats your Personal Data (as such term is defined below) for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice.

The responsible party collects the following personal data: Name, last name, and email address (from now on, the “Personal Data”) for the following purposes necessary to provide the service and/or attention requested by you:

Dates of courses, certifications, promotions, and advertising.

According to the Law, we require our clients’ written consent to process their Personal Data. If they do not express their opposition to processing their Data, it will be understood that they consent to the Responsible for it. The Controller will process this Personal Data just for those purposes stated in this Privacy Notice, except in the case of the exceptions provided by law.

Our clients have the right to access their Personal Data in our possession and the details of their processing, as well as to rectify them if they are inaccurate or incomplete or cancel them in this Privacy Notice.

To limit the use and disclosure of their personal information, they can register in the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising, which is in charge of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO), so that their Personal Data will not be used to receive advertising or promotions.

At any time, the Responsible Party may make modifications or updates to this Privacy Notice derived from new legal requirements, the Responsible Party’s privacy policies or practices, or its needs derived from the products or services it offers, or for any other reason.

The Responsible will inform them of any changes or updates to this notice via email.
